Aude Vandenputte (°2003) began her violin studies with Peter Nys at the age of four, according to the Suzuki Method. This introduced her to the concept of collaborative music-making early on, which greatly fostered her tremendous passion for chamber music. In this genre she plays in a wide variety of ensembles, but she is mainly active in piano trio (Trio Azur) and string quartet (Omorfiá Ensemble).

As a soloist, she already had the chance to perform with various orchestras and ensembles, including ‘het Universitair Symfonisch Orkest van de KU Leuven’ and ‘het Academisch Symfonieorkest Mortsel’, with whom she performed Mendelssohn violin concerto in E Minor and Tchaikovsky in D Major respectively.

Playing in orchestra holds an important place in Aude’s musical career. She gained a lot of experience through participation in numerous productions with various orchestras, including Opera Ballet Vlaanderen, Opéra Royal de Wallonie-Liege, Ataneres, Etesiane Orchestra and the Mahler Student Festival Orchestra. In addidion, she has joined Casco Phil as a core member in 2025.

She frequently holds the position of concertmaster. This role was appointed to her in multiple productions of Youth Orchestra Flanders (YOF), the Berlin Opera Academy (BOA), Melomania and Luca Philharmonic. Since 2025 Aude is also concertmaster of the Hagelands Symfonisch Orkest (HSO).

Aude completed her violin Master’s degree at Luca School of Arts, under the guidance of Prof. Maximilian Lohse. During her Erasmus experience she studied with Prof. Sandis Steinbergs at the Jazeps Vitols Latvian Academy of Music (JVLMA). To broaden her versatility in music-making, she is currently pursuing her Master’s degree in viola with Prof. Tine Janssens.

Her goal is to share her love and passion for (classical) music and to convey these feelings to everyone around her, to create beautiful moments together.
